Following a high-level meeting to improve departmental performance, the investigation wing of the Aabpara police station has been directed to adopt strict standards of transparency and merit in the probe of all cases.
This directive was issued by Superintendent of Police (SP) City Zone Dr. Ayaz Hussain during a formal meeting with officers stationed at the Aabpara police station on Saturday.
A special session was also held to review the operational procedures with the station’s investigating officers.
During the meeting, SP Hussain explicitly instructed the investigation teams to make transparency and merit their guiding principles in dealing with criminal cases.
The senior officer also stressed the need for a significant improvement in the overall operational efficiency of the station’s personnel.
