Stray dogs bit 16 people in Larkana

LARKANA: As many as 16 people were bitten by stray dogs in a single day in Larkana on Tuesday.

Those injured by the stray dogs included three-year Najma, daughter of Ihsan, six-year Mubeen, son of Abdul Rauf, 10-year Adil, son of Ghulam Hyder, 38-year Imtiaz, son of Gul Hassan and others.

They were brought to the Chandka Hospital Anti-Rabies Vaccination Center for ARV vaccination and dressing of their wounds. They were discharged after their injuries were dressed and ARV vaccination.

The menace of dog bites still continues in the city which has tormented the residents of Larkana district but the municipal authorities have so far remained mum over the issue and seen without discharging their legal and moral duties. The citizens have demanded of the authorities concerned to eliminate wandering and pye dogs immediately so that citizens could take a sigh of relief.
