On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Usman Javed, strict action has been taken against the violation of the Marriage Function Act in Okara. Assistant Commissioner Anam Ali Khan took immediate action against the violation of the one-dish policy and sealed Aamir Marriage Hall.
A prosecution has also been filed against the wedding hall owner and the concerned party for legal action.
In accordance with the directives of the Chief Minister of Punjab, a commitment has been made to ensure the implementation of the Marriage Function Act.
Officials stated that there is no legal or moral justification for violating the one-dish policy in wedding halls. Wedding hall owners have been warned to refrain from violating government orders, otherwise, they may face strict action.
