Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the Balochistan government is actively promoting sports as a foundation for a peaceful and strong society by attracting youth towards constructive activities.
The Chief Minister expressed these views today while attending the final match of the All Istehkam Pakistan Football Tournament. He distributed prizes among the players for their outstanding performance during the event. On this occasion, Provincial Minister for Food Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Dumar, Sardar Kohiyar Khan Domki, Parliamentary Secretary Wali Muhammad Noorzai, and Mir Asghar Rind were also present.
Appreciating the skills of the competing teams, Bugti said that the youth of the province are demonstrating their talents in athletics, and his administration is taking all possible steps to encourage them.
He detailed that the provincial government has launched special projects to improve sports infrastructure at the district level, restore sports grounds, and provide modern training to the youth.
Bugti emphasized that sports not only promote a healthy lifestyle but also inculcate discipline, teamwork, and positive thinking in youth.
The Chief Minister said that by promoting football and other sports in areas like Sanjawi, the youth will be attracted towards positive activities, which he described as the foundation of a strong Balochistan.
He congratulated the organizers on the successful holding of the tournament and expressed the hope that such competitions will continue in the future to provide better opportunities for bringing young talent to the forefront.
