LAHORE:A 13-year-old maid was allegedly tortured to death by houseowner in Lahore on Wednesday.
The deceased identified as Muskan was a maid at the house of Qadeer, a resident of Ghalib Market in the city, police said. She was rushed to Children Hospital as her condition worsened due to torture by the houseowner, police added.
The doctors at the hospital pronounced her dead, declaring that she had died before reaching the hospital. The deceased was also carrying old and new torture marks on different parts of her body. The driver of accused Qadeer had brought Muskan to the Children Hospital, and on his identification, the police arrested the accused. The driver during interrogation told the police that he and Muskan were employed at the house of accused of Qadeer. Muskan’s body was shifted to a morgue for autopsy, declared police.
