The country is suffering due to ignoring the vision of the founder of Pakistan, Nizam-e-Mustafa Party

According to former federal minister Dr. Haji Muhammad Hanif Tayyab, Pakistan is facing severe consequences, including deep regional and provincial divisions, because the nation has strayed from the principles of faith, unity, and discipline laid down by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The Chairman of the Nizam-e-Mustafa Party emphasized in a statement today that this very deviation from the founder’s guidance led to the separation of East Pakistan. He lamented that the remaining population is now divided by regionalism, which is weakening national harmony and stability.

Dr. Tayyab said that although the British considered the creation of Pakistan “a madman’s dream,” it became a reality through immense sacrifices, but the country was not run according to the Quaid’s vision.

Recalling his tenure as a federal minister, he detailed his efforts to preserve the Quaid’s legacy, including the establishment of a museum for the Quaid’s relics, which was inaugurated on March 23, 1987. He also mentioned his role in changing the name of an administrative committee from “Quaid-e-Azam Monetary Fund” to the more appropriate “Quaid-e-Azam Management Board” and in getting approval for the establishment of Bagh-e-Jinnah.

To illustrate the founder’s character, the former minister recounted an anecdote of Jinnah’s frugality with public funds, telling how he directed that only tea be served to cabinet members, stating that the nation’s money was not for their meals.

Dr. Tayyab also emphasized Jinnah’s collaboration with religious leaders, citing the bestowing of the title “Fatah-e-Sarhad” on Maulana Abdul Hamid Badayuni and the inclusion of religious scholars in the historic 1940 Pakistan Day meeting.

He also highlighted the significant financial contributions made by figures like Pir Jamaat Ali Shah and Sir Adamjee Dawood in the nation’s early days. Dr. Tayyab stressed that the stories of these personalities should be an integral part of the curriculum in schools, colleges, and universities.

The Chairman of the Nizam-e-Mustafa Party concluded by praying for Pakistan to become a “true Islamic state.”
