LAHORE: Three labourers were killed in a traffic accident near Naushehro Feroz, police said Tuesday.
According to the police, the labourers, identified as Manzoor Hussain, Roshan Ali and Bilawal Ghanghro, were crushed to death by an unknown vehicle while riding a motorcycle on the National Highway near Taj Petrol Pump within the limits of Kandiaro police station.
The deceased were the residents of village Kabeer Ghanghro. They were hit by a high-speeding passenger coach. Their bodies were shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police have lodged a report and started a probe into the incident. A mourning atmosphere prevailed in the houses of the victims.
Separately, a child, Hamza Ali, son of Ali Muhammad, fell into a pond in village of Mayo Khan Mangriyo within the boundaries of Pir Wasan police station.
