QUETTA:Customs Quetta claimed to have seized three non-customs-paid vehicles and arrested two accused at Lakpass check post of Customs on Tuesday.
According to Spokesman for Collectorate of Customs, Quetta, three non-customs-paid vehicles were seized during checking at Lakpass check post of Customs. Two persons namely Abdul Razzaq and Abdul Latif were also booked by the authorities.
The spokesman further said that seized non-customs-paid vehicles were being smuggled to the interior of the country. Irfan Javed, Collector Customs Quetta said crackdown against non-customs-paid vehicles had been launched on the directives of Federal Government, Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) and Chief Collector, Collectorate of Customs, Balochistan, Gul Rehman.
