LARKANA:A tractor driver who has been cheating the rice mill owners for 5 years near Larkana has been arrested and locked up by the police here on Thursday. In this regard, the tractor mafia measuring at Mir Hassan rice mill in Wasand Shakh area near Larkana was caught allegedly committing fraud, which was handed over to the police of Lashari police station by the owner of the mill, Haji Panjal Jagirani.
The incident was also reported to the Central President of Sindh Balochistan Rice Millers and Traders Association, Haji Qamaruddin Gopang, who took notice and contacted the Central General Secretary Asad Ali Tunyo and instructed him to take strict action against the incident, after which the Central General Secretary contacted SSP Dr. Imran, informed him about the incident, on which SSP gave instructions to SP HQ Asif Raza Baloch to hold a meeting with Rice Millers leaders and discuss the issues.
In this regard, Central General Secretary Asad Ali Tunio has said in his press statement that the tractor mafia has been defrauding traders for 5 years, while today Ehsan Umrani has been caught and soon his accomplices will also be brought to justice and severe punishment will be given to the gang.
