The Pakistan Army successfully thwarted a major terrorist attack on Cadet College Wana on Thursday, ensuring the safe rescue of all students and teachers in a swift operation that prevented a significant catastrophe, according to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

In a statement, the Interior Minister lauded the armed forces for their professional excellence and rapid response in neutralizing the assailants. He credited their timely intervention with averting what could have been a devastating incident.

‘I congratulate the operational commander and the entire team of the Pakistan Army for their timely and decisive action,’ Minister Naqvi stated. He paid special tribute to the soldiers involved in the counter-operation.

‘Salute to the brave sons who saved the lives of students and teachers – these courageous soldiers are the heroes of the nation,’ the minister added, acknowledging their heroism.

Minister Naqvi reiterated that the entire country stands united with its armed forces in the fight against extremism. He emphasized that such cowardly assaults cannot weaken Pakistan’s determination to eliminate the menace of terrorism from its soil completely.
