Two persons, including a 10-year-old shepherd, lost their lives in separate incidents in the Noshki district of Balochistan on Thursday.

According to a statement by the police, unidentified attackers opened fire at a vehicle near the Killi Mengal area, resulting in the death of the driver. The victim, identified as Tariq Mengal, son of Naik Nazar Mengal and a resident of Killi Qadirabad Noshki, was shifted to Mir Gul Khan Naseer Teaching Hospital Noshki.

After the completion of necessary medico-legal procedures, his body was handed over to the family. The incident has led to a mourning atmosphere at the victim’s residence. Police Station Noshki have started further investigation.

In a separate incident, the body of a 10-year-old boy, identified as Muhammad Abid, was found in the mountainous terrain of Kesingi near Noshki.

Reports indicate that the boy, son of Muhammad Hassan and a resident of Killi Muhammad Hassan Sungber Kesungi, had gone to graze sheep the previous day. His body, discovered in the mountains, was handed over to his home in Killi Muhammad Hassan Sungber Kesungi and laid to rest in his ancestral cemetery.
