A youngster fell prey to an armed clash in the katcha area of Chak police station near Shikarpur on Monday.
According to initial reports reached here, a clash took place between two rival tribes of Mahar and Jatoi communities in the katcha area of Chak near Shikarpur.
As a result, a youngster identified as Muneeb Ahmed, aged 18, son of Abdul Rahman Bhayo, was killed on the spot while one older person, Mamo Sajjan Mahar, received serious bullet injured.
The cause behind the incident was stated to be an old tribal dispute between two rival communities of Mahar and Jatoi.
No FIR was registered till late evening.
