QUETTA:,,, A prominent tribal elder, Wajid Khan Bareach, on Thursday demanded of the police authorities to initiate a disciplinary action against Station House Officer (SHO), Sialkot or else, he would be compelled to protest.
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club with other associated, he said that his brother Ali Akbar was arrested by SHO Shalkot Khair Muhammad from his shop in Hazar Ganji area of Quetta, who took him to Police Station Sialkot where he was tortured and put behind the bar.
Mr Bareach alleged that his brother was later released on payment of Rs40,000 to the SHO. He called on Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, to initiate a disciplinary action against the SHO.
