LARKANA: Two brothers were gunned down and one other was injured over a land dispute between Kalhoro and Memon communities in village Chajra near Kambar on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Aziz Memon, his brother Tufail Memon and injured as Shoaib Memon, all sons of Haji Bashir Memon.
The heirs of the deceased alleged that an influential person Arbab Kalhoro of Essa Kalhoro village came to their land along with his armed men to six acre land of Memon brothers and injured them. They said they informed the Qambar police immediately about the firing but cops reached the spot very late. They rushed them to the Emergency Department of Chandka Medical College Hospital where doctors confirmed the death of Aziz and Tufail.
They urged DIGP Larkana and SSP Kamber-Shahdadkot to arrest the killers and dispense justice. Neither any FIR was registered by the police nor any arrest was made till the filing of this report.
