Two killed, eight injured in traffic accidents near Thatta

Two separate accidents in Thatta on Saturday claimed the lives of two young men and left eight others injured.

According to rescue sources, the first incident occurred about 30 kilometers from Thatta on the main National Highway leading near Gharo Water Park, where a truck collided with a Mazda pickup, resulting in the deaths of Abdul Ghani and Saleem on the spot, while cleaner Waqas was injured.

The bodies and the injured were shifted to the Rural Health Center Gharo, where after necessary procedures, the bodies were handed over to the heirs.

The second accident happened near Jhirk at the Malakatiar Bridge, where a car collided with a rickshaw. As a result, seven persons, including Ghulam Rasool, Jado, Ali Hassan, Jamun Jokhio, and rickshaw driver Shareef, sustained serious injuries. They were transported to a Jhirk hospital for treatment.
