Upgraded facilities to enable pilgrims fully focus on worship

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf says upgraded facilities in Arafat and Mina will enable Pakistani pilgrims to fully focus on worship during Hajj.

He made these remarks during his visit to Arafat today. Accompanied by Religious Affairs Secretary Abrar Ahmad Mirza, Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, and Director Makkah Arif Aslam Rao, the Minister visited dispensaries, sofa-cum-bed accommodations, kitchens, and other facilities at the holy site.

Maktab CEO Bandar bin Abdullah Al Rajhi briefed the delegation on preparations for the days of Hajj. Talking to the media, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme will enjoy improved facilities in Mina and Arafat this year. He added that fresh meals suited to Pakistani tastes will be served to the pilgrims during the Hajj days.

The Minister said the Saudi government and Al Rajhi Company have made excellent arrangements for Pakistani intending pilgrims.
