UVAS Rally Echoes with ‘Kashmir will become Pakistan’ Slogans

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) today organised a campus walk on Friday where participants chanted slogans calling for Kashmir to become part of Pakistan, marking Kashmir Solidarity Day. The event was held to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir and to draw attention to their reported sufferings.

Led by UVAS Senior Tutor Prof Dr Muhammad Yasin Tipu, the demonstration at the city campus saw a large turnout of students from various departments, alongside faculty members and administrative staff.

Participants in the procession waved Kashmiri flags and voiced their support for the Kashmir movement. The walk commenced at the Vice-Chancellor”s office, proceeded through the campus, and concluded in front of the university”s main lawn.

Among the prominent academic and administrative figures present were Parasitology Department Chairman Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, City Campus Principal Officer Prof Dr Mati Ur Rehman Khan Niazi, Registrar Sajjad Hyder, and Dr Muhammad Sarwar Siddique.

In a coordinated observance, similar commemorative activities were also arranged across all other UVAS campuses, including Ravi Campus Pattoki, the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Jhang, the Khan Bahadur Chaudhary Mushtaq Ahmad Para-Veterinary College in Narowal, and the Para Veterinary Institute Karor Lal Eason in Layyah.
