The 326th Vaisakhi Mela commenced today and will continue until April 19, drawing a significant influx of pilgrims from across the globe.

The Punjab Home Department has implemented extensive security measures to protect the 20,000 local devotees, 3,000 members of the diaspora, and 7,000 pilgrims from India and other countries attending the festival.

Sikh pilgrims from India have started entering Pakistan through the Wagah Border to participate in the celebrations.

Secretary of the Evacuee Property Trust Board, Farid Iqbal, greeted the arriving pilgrims at the Wagah Check Post.

The festival marks a key event in the Sikh calendar, with thousands gathering to observe traditional festivities and religious ceremonies.
