LAYYAH:A woman allegedly killed her father-in-law over a petty dispute in Layyah's Kot Sultan area, police said on Sunday. A police team excavated the body of Faqeer Muhammad from his residential property after suspect Sobia Yousaf admitted to killing her father-in-law on June 21 and buried his body in a portion of the house.
The police said Sobia's husband Zahid Hussain worked in Lahore. The complainant Mujahid Hussain told the police that his father had been missing for the last 10 days. Sobia disclosed the murder after being interrogated by other family members. The body was shifted for autopsy and a case was registered against Sobia.
