LARKANA:An irate man injured a woman and a man in village Ghazi Khan Dasti near Kashmore on the pretext of notorious Karo Kari rite on Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, accused Muhammad Arif Dasti fired shots and injured Shah Gul Dasti and woman Arbelli Khatoon on Karo-Kari rite allegation in Ghazi Khan Dasti village of Kashmore district.
Both injured were rushed to Chandka Medical College Hospital here for treatment. Police arrested the accused but no case was registered till filing of this report.
Jaro Khan Dasti, father of the woman, told newsmen that Arif had gone to water an agriculture field where he shot Shah Gul and injured him. He said when he reached home he started firing at Arbelli on the pretext of fake Karo-Kari rite to save himself from police. He said Kashmore police station authorities took timely action and arrested the accused. No case was registered and police are probing the matter further.
