KARACHI:Sindh Health Department has constituted an enquiry committee to probe the allegation of misappropriation of budget/funds against Mukhtiar Ahmed Qureshi, accountant Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK).
According to a notification, a three-member enquiry committee comprised of Arshad Khokhar, Deputy Secretary Health Department (Budget), (chairman), Muhammad Younus Section Officer (PM-1), (member) and Irfan Arain Section Officer budget (member) was constituted.
It will probe the allegation of misappropriation of budget/funds related to different heads i-e P.O.L charges others, purchase of drugs and medicines repair of furniture and fixtures, repair of machinery and equipments and M and R for the year 2017-18, 2018-19 against accountant Mukhtiar Qureshi Civil Hospital Karachi.
The committee members are required to probe into the allegation; findings should explicitly fix the responsibility upon the officer/official and submit the report to health department within 15 days.
