LARKANA: Members of Hindu community under the banner of Poj Hindu Panchyart took out a large rally from Dharamshalla against brutal murder of trader Satan Das in Ghotki three days ago which after marching through major bazaar reached at Jinnah Bagh Chowk here on Thursday where the participants staged a large sit-in blocking the vital road due to which all kinds of traffic came to stabndstill or the drivers diverted to other connecting roads.

The participants shouted slogans while holding large banners and placards in their hands against the cops failure to arrest all the accused. Hindu leaders Dr. Dharampal, Seth Lokchand, JUI-Fazal leader Muhbat Khuhro, Seth Neval Rai, Haresh Lal, PPP-SB’s Imtiaz Gad and others participated in large numbers as a sign of solidarity. While talking with media persons these leaders said that businessman Satan Das was barbariically killed three days ago in Ghotki and his son was injured. They said FIR was registered at Ghotki police station against the accused but despite passage of three days none of them has been arrested by the police which has exposed the working and efficiency of the police in Sindh. They said this tragic incident has created a sense of insecurity, panic and unrest among the entire Hindu community members in Sindh province.

They said we know that Sindh is a land of sufi saints where Hindu and other minority communities are living peacefully with religous harmony but due to conspiracy hatched by some unscrupulous people peace is being detriorated with ulterior motives and malafide intention so that original inhabitants of this loving and cherished land should leave.

They demanded arrest of all the accused involved in the killing of Satan Das along with their facilitiators and supporters, provision of foolproof protection to his family members or else, they warned, they will enlarge their struggle for their rights.
