ISLAMABAD:Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said socio-economic development of Balochistan is one of the top priorities of the government.
Talking to Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha here on Thursday, he said the PTI government provided the biggest ever development package to Balochistan. He regretted that no one in the past paid attention to development of Balochistan.
He said the development package announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan will help address the deprivations lingering on in the region for the past seventy years. He said Balochistan will benefit the most from the CPEC, and the development projects being carried out in Balochistan will really prove game changer for the province.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor Balochistan said the federal government’s efforts to remove deprivations of Balochistan are commendable. He said he would continue to play his role for better coordination between the federal government and the provincial government, and this will benefit the people of Balochistan.
