No trust motion against Jam likely in BA on 20th

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha, has summoned the session of Balochistan Provincial Assembly on October 20, 2021, in which no confidence motion is expected to be tabled against Chief Minister, Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan.

According to detail, Agha summoned the session of Balochistan Provincial Assembly on October 20, 2021. No confidence motion against Khan is likely to be tabled. Disgruntled members of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) had submitted the motion against Jam in Balochistan Provincial Assembly Secretariat on October 12, 2021.

Spokesperson for provincial government, Liaquat Shahwani, said that disgruntled members of BAP, who were being used by Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) for its objectives, were innocent. He added that PDM, an alliance of opposition parties, would also face indirect defeat in Balochistan similar to the defeat PDM faced in Senate.

It is worth mentioning that opposition parties of Balochistan Provincial Assembly had earlier filed no-confidence-motion against Jam which was returned by Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha, due to some technical deficiencies.
