PIA Scouts Provincial Council Coordination meeting held

KARACHI:General Manager PIA and Provincial Scouts Commissioner Qamar Shamim has said that aim of scouting is to provide youngsters a platform by which they can furnish their abilities and talents and become a good citizen, adding scouting is playing a vital role in making our youngsters, a greater citizen.

Assistant Provincial Commissioner Public Relation Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhary said that in the world scouting, their religion had the main importance. “Scouts training reflects the Islamic principles. A good scout must be a good Muslim. A good scout is a role model of good morality and a good character,” he said this during his speech at Provincial Council Coordination meeting at Provincial Headquarters PIA BSA

Assistant Provincial Commissioner (PR) Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhary, Provincial Secretary Shamas Khan and other provincial officials Syed Mehboob Qadri, Ghulam Qadir, Muhammad Ayaz, Muhammad Tariq Ansari, Tariq Mehmood, District commissioner Iftikhar Usmani, Syed javid Raza, Freeddin, Muhammad Shakeel and secretaries also attended the meeting.

According to press note by provincial spokesman, Syed Mehboob Qadri, girl scouts, boys, shaheen and rover scouts participated in all social activities at Karachi, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar district headquarters. PIA Scouts Khudam-ul-Hujajj contingent will leave for Saudi Arabia on the last Hajj flight. Scout units will service the pilgrims in Mecca, Madina and Jeddah Airport after the Hajj. Eventually, recent steps were taken to accelerate events, training camps, public relations and other scout programs.
