Rangers, police arrest alleged murderer

KARACHI:Pakistan Rangers and Sindh police on Tuesday in a joint operation arrested an accused over his involvement in a murder case in Surjani Town area of the city.

Pakistan Rangers and Sindh Police on a tip of raided in Surjani Town and arrested accused Aslam Hyderabadi over his involvement in a murder of Shahid alias Passport on 1st May 2018 in Korangi No 5 area.

During  initial interrogation, the  accused confessed that he along with his companions Noor Din alias Arshi, Rashid and Imran alias Ganja had committed the murder. The law enforcers also arrested other accused Noor Din from Shah Faisal town and Arshad from Korangi and recovered a 30 bore pistol and a motorcycle which were used in the murder.

The accused also confessed his involvement in the murder of one Salah-u-Din,  in Korangi sector 5-1 D area on 18 April.

During the investigation it has learnt that the cause behind murders was land grabbing. The Rangers have handed over three accused to police for further investigation.
