KASUR: Inaugural ceremony of 1st Probe Conference entitled “Biology: Down the Road” organized by Department of Physiology, University of Karachi (KU) will be held on 16th January, 2018 at Arts Auditorium of KU.
Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Syeda Shehla Raza will be the chief guest, while Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ajmal Khan will preside. Chairman, Department of Physiology Prof. Dr. Habib Fatima, Prof. Dr. M.H.Kazi, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdul Azeem, Dr. Taseer Ahmed Khan and Dr. Anwar Ali will also address on the occasion.
Dr. Habeeb Fatima said that it’s a distinguished department which is running graduate and post graduate program in basic and practical physiology. Physiology is health sciences only subject which has received Nobel Prize and the basis of many disciplines including pharmaceutical, physiotherapy, radiology, genetics and microbiology. It has a lot of significance in biological sciences and explains the processes of life and death.
KU’s department of physiology has been very active in research since its inception and this conference will be an ideal gathering of prominent biologists of the country where they will share their important research work with the students.
