UBAURO:Excise police recovered 20kg hashish from two accused and arrested them near Ubauro on Tuesday. Two accused were smuggling hashish to Karachi from Punjab when they are stopped at an excise police check post near Ubauro. The team, led by Excise Inspector Jam Amir Ali checked the vehicle and found 20kg hashish of high quality from the hidden cavities of car.
The police arrested accused Fazaluddin Pathan and Bhaijan Pathan. Further investigation was underway, the police said. The checking of vehicles near Sindh-Punjab border has been expedited on the directives of Sindh Excise and Taxation Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla.
