QUETTA:A seven-day national Anti-Polio campaign commenced across the province with a target of administering anti-polio drops to one million children below the age of five. Rashid Razzaq, Coordinator, Emergency Operation Centre, Balochistan said in the first phase campaign has been launched in high risk districts viz., Quetta and Pishin.
From August 28, it will be launched in Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi and Suhbat Pur while from September 2, the campaign will be launched in District Killa Abdullah. He said that police, levies and FC personnel have already been deployed for security of polio teams.
