Muzaffarabad, AJK: At least nine people died when a passenger van fell into a roadside ditch near here on Sunday.
Rescue sources said a van coming from Samahini to Mirpur fell into a roadside ditch while negotiating a sharp turn in Peer Gali area. As a result nine people including a woman and a child died and six other passengers sustained injuries.
The bodies and injured were shifted to the district headquarters hospital, where the injured were admitted for treatment.
