Kohat:At least nine miners died when a coalmine caved in near Kohat on Wednesday.
Administration sources said that a blast occurred in a coalmine at Akharwal area due to coal gas and it caved in.
Eleven miners were buried under the debris, while nine dead bodies were recovered from the mine. Efforts were under way to rescue two missing miners.
