Karachi: Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Fazalur Rehman has directed district East Karachi administration to ensure proper cleanliness of Tariq Road.
Filthy look of the newly-constructed road affects the entire area, he said while talking to a delegation of Tariq Road Traders Welfare Association led by its Aslam Bhatti here at the CM House.
The acting chief minister said that he had visited Tariq Rod and found that the shopkeepers throw trash and other waste of their shops on the road. It is a beautiful road and being defaced with trash. Its cleanliness must be maintained properly, he said. He directed DC and DMC East to ensure regular and timely cleanliness of the road.
