Islamabad:Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khosa here on Tuesday suspended the notification of federal government regarding extension in tenure of Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa extension until tomorrow’s hearing.
The chief justice observed that “the summary and approval of army chief’s extension is not correct”.
The court issued notices to defence ministry, federal government and Gen Bajwa, who is due to retire on Friday, November 29.
The hearing was adjourned until Wednesday.
