Arts Council of Pakistan’s election campaign begins

KARACHI:Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi has presented a soft image of Karachi and the country.

This was stated by Ahmed Shah, nominated president for the upcoming election of Arts Council, while addressing the election campaign in North Nazimabad on Sunday. Prof. Ejaz Farooqui, Prof. Haroon Rasheed, Adil Ibrahim, Nouman Khan, Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Noor ul Huda Shah also addressed to the gathering.

“Arts Council have presented many national and international conferences in the past few years, including international Urdu conference, dance festival, and theatre festival and these conferences and festivals are now famous internationally, but we still need to work more and hard,” he further added.

He said that Arts Council had been developed enough so they had changed the panel to give opportunities to new members and energetic youth. Shah said that they had given opportunity to artists of Karachi and other parts of Pakistan and have also given them the membership of Arts Council seven year back.
