ISLAMABAD:Airport Security Force (ASF) on Saturday foiled a heroin smuggling bid by arresting a smuggler, who was trying to smuggle heroin abroad from Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad.
According to sources, a team of Pakistan ASF was checking the luggage of passenger, Qamar Gul, a resident of Bajaur Agency, was attempting to smuggle the drugs to Qatar from Islamabad through a private airlines flight, and recovered more than two kilograms ice-heroin worth millions from the smuggler. The ASF official have registered a case against the accused and started further investigation.
