KARACHI:An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday awarded a 17-year imprisonment to a Lyari gangster in a case pertaining to the police encounter.
The court announced its decision after hearing the arguments and in the light of evidences. The crime was proved against Moosa Mehri, who was booked in possessing illegal weapons and encounter with police.
The court awarded him 17-year imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs150,000. A case was registered against him at Kalri Police Station in Karachi.
