Buzdar chairs meeting of Business District Development Authority

HUB: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar chaired a meeting of Lahore Central Business District Development Authority at his office to review the progress. The meeting was attended by Housing Minister Asad Khokhar, chief secretary, SMBR, secretary housing, chairman P and D, finance secretary, commissioner Lahore, SMU head and others.

At the outset, the CM termed this project as a flagship initiative of the PTI government which is planned at the prime location of the city over an area of 125 acres. This project will boost trade and economic activities while creating job opportunities; he added and directed to expedite the project work. The CM said that this project is very attractive for foreign investors and there is a need to effectively showcase it before the foreign investors. This project will also be showcased at Dubai Expo, he added.

CEO Lahore Central Business District Development Authority Imran Amin informed that an 8-acre piece of land of this project has been sold at a record price of Rs. 22 billion which is 165 percent more than the reserve price.
