KARACHI:The Voice of Psychologists has demanded of the government to implement the Pakistan Psychological Council Bill.
According to press release issued on Saturday the Pakistan Psychological Council’s bill has been passed in 2013 and in 2018 as well. The Standing Committee of the Senate has also ensured its implementation.
With the establishment of the Pakistan Psychological Council, the data of psychologists from across the country will be collected and the growing mental disorders can be overcome and we will have qualified and registered psychologists available to cure them. Psychologists across Pakistan are raising their voice through this Voice of Psychologist movement. Psychology students and teachers from universities, colleges across the country are working with us to become part of this struggle.
The statement stated that our country has passed different laws in different periods of Pakistan, which were of paramount importance to the police, which, by implementation, could reduce our growing emotional measures and tackle terrorism and reduce crime, because of the establishment of the Psychological Council.
Failure to do so could result in no improvement, as the process of the Psychological Council could systematically work on growing psychological and social problems in society.
And a considerable number of qualified bio-data will be available at the national level, which will enable the government to provide us with the full potential of any psychologist whose services can be fully utilized in any district situation.
They also express our solidarity with Kashmir and on this occasion we stand with the Kashmiri people.
“We are spreading our voice to the Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Health through print and electronic media so that the Pakistan Psychological Council Bill will be implemented as soon as possible.”
The sole purpose of today’s peaceful walk is to raise our voice for the establishment of a psychological council.

The purpose of our movement and struggle is to provide qualified and credible psychologists to society. Without which Pakistan Psychological Council would not be possible.
