Karachi: Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar has decided to give concession to citizens of Karachi in entry fee of parks and recreation centers. Now free entry would be provided for children up to 3 years of age in the Karachi Zoo, Safari Park and Landhi Zoo.
This decision will also apply on others park as well including Beach Park, Hill Park, Polo Ground, S.T22 and Amir Khusro Park.
All special persons and senior citizens of more than 65 years of age shall also have free entry whereas 50 percent concession will be allowed to students.
Mayor Karachi said this step has been taken to provide maximum recreation facilities to the citizens.
Kashmir Day Program: A Kashmir Solidarity Day program has been scheduled on the 5th February Monday in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Building at M.A Jinnah Rod which will be addressed by the Mayor Waseem Akhtar and Kashmiri leaders and intellectuals.
A rally shall also be held afterwards to show solidarity with Kashmiri brethren.
