QUETTA: The residents of Hazara Town, Quetta staged a protest demonstration in front of the office of Sue Southern Gas Company, Quetta against shortage of gas, low gas pressure, installation of fast meters and heavy bills here on Monday.
Demonstration was attended by large number of residents including women and children. Protestors chanted slogans against SSGC authorities and also staged a sit-in in support of their demands.
Moreover, Elaqai Ittehad, Quetta also staged a sit-in and protest demonstration against low gas pressure at Sirki Road Pushtoonabad and Pushtoon Dara, Quetta. The protestors were chanting slogans against gas authorities. They were of the view that despite signing a deal with the residents of the mentioned areas during the year 2015, the authorities had miserably failed to redress their grievances. They demanded of the higher authorities to resolve their issues.
