KARACHI: District Municipal Corporation (DMC) Korangi on Monday started setting up heat stroke and medical aid camps in Shah Faisal town. DMC Chairman Sayed Nayyer Raza directed officials to provide facilities to the people and save them from heat stroke.
Raza instructed the municipal officials and union council chairmen to save the people from heat stroke and set up heat stroke and medical aid camps in Shah Faisal town near Shama Shopping Centre.
Nayyer said that every possible cooperation be carried out and aware the people about heat stroke. He said this while visiting camps in Korangi, Landhi, Malir Model Zone and Shah Faisal town. He directed the officers to keep continue the camps and facilitate the people. He also instructed that cool drinking water should be made available round the clock at camps.
