Lahore:Employers’ Federation of Pakistan signed an MOU with the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Punjab with a view to, in particular, promote business academia collaboration in the professional academic programs like Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma, Masters, MPhil, PHD degrees in Occupational Health and Safety initiated by Punjab University.
The MOU will also encourage the promotion of research culture through business academia collaboration which will help developing case studies and best business practices in OSH for the mutual benefit of both business and academia.
The MOU was signed at the Business Sustainability Meeting organized by Employer’s Federation Pakistan in collaboration with International Labour Organization at Lahore.
The MOU was signed by Prof. Dr. Sajid Rasheed Ahmed, Principal, College of Earth and Environmental Sciences representing Punjab university and Fasihul Karim Siddiqi, Secretary General signed on behalf of Employers’ Federation of Pakistan.
The MOU signing ceremony was witnessed by Sarah Aslam, Secretary Labour, Government of Punjab, Malik Tahir Javed, Former President LCCI, Abdul Waheed Sandal, Director EFP Board and Siddiq Rafi from Otsuka Baluchistan and Ghulam Mustafa Tabassum, Coordinator, EFP Lahore office.
