Election Tribunal headed dismisses petitions

QUETTA:Election Tribunal headed by Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar dismissed election petitions filed against Provincial Ministers Saleem Khosa, Umer Khan Jamali, Advisors to Chief Minister Malik Naeem Khan Bazai, Haji Muhammad Khan Lehri, President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and MPA Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, MNA of JUI (F) Molvi Kamal-ud-Din, MPA JUI (F) Abdul Wahid Siddique, MNA of Balochistan Awami Party Mir Khalid Magsi and MPA Mir Sikandar Umrani.

The Election Tribunal of Justice Muhammad Hashim Kakar heard petition filed by Mir Asim Kurd Gillo againt MPA PB-17 and President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Balochistan Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind. The appellant in previous hearing had raised objections on bogus votes and rigging in election.

During the hearing, the lawyer of Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind informed the tribunal that as no evidence was produced before the tribunal; therefore, the petition was liable to be dismissed. The Election Tribunal dismissed election petition.

Moreover, Election Tribunal of Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar also dismissed election petitions filed against Provincial Ministers Saleem Khosa, Umer Khan Jamali, Advisor to Chief Minister Malik Naeem Khan Bazai, Haji Muhammad Khan Lehri, MNA of JUI (F) Molvi Kamal-ud-Din, MPA JUI (F) Abdul Wahid Siddique, MNA of Balochistan Awami Party Mir Khalid Magsi and MPA Mir Sikandar Umrani.

Election Tribunal of Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar ordered NADRA authorities to certify voters of 39 polling stations of NA 259, Dera Bughti Sui through bio metric. The tribunal heard the petition filed by Tariq Mehmood against MNA Nawabzada Shahzain Bughti. Lawyers of both the parties appeared before the tribunal.

During the hearing, the tribunal accepted the plea of Appellant to get voters certified through bio metric and the tribunal accordingly ordered NADRA authorities to get voters of 39 polling stations of Dera Bughti and Sui certified through bio metric. 11 December was fixed for next hearing.
