Federal government attacking ECP: Marri

KARACHI: Central Information Secretary, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, and the member of the National Assembly Shazia Atta Marri, said Tuesday that PTI’s current incompetent government was attacking the constitutional institution of Election Commissioner of Pakistan just because of concealing its anti-people policies and poor performance.

“Use of electronic voting machines (EVMs) in the general elections is another government’s malicious intention likewise the Pakistan Media Development Authority (PMDA) and PPP had already rejected both,” she said in a statement issued by her here today.

Marri uttered that present Prime Minister, Imran Khan Niazi, had made the country a training ground for his foolish decisions and the decision of the England cricket team about not to come Pakistan after New Zealand is a big loss and shocking for the country.

Marri added that Chinese government complained regarding the slow pace of development on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was an alarming and worrying question mark on the poor performance of Imran Niazi’s government. She said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was reluctant to bring the country’s affairs in the Parliament for discussion and even now, the members of National Assembly from ruling party were fed up with his incompetence and incapability.
