KHAIRPUR: Four people died in separate mishaps near here on Wednesday.
According to details, some armed persons opened firing on a youth, Nazeer Ahmed Kanasro at Mad Link Road near Sobhodero. As a result, he died on the spot.
The cause murder was said to be over old enmity between Kanasro and Pitafi communities.
However, Awam Express coming from Peshawar to Karachi overran a man near Therhi railway crossing Khairpur. A-Section police shifted the body to the civil hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Later, the victim was identified as Najeebullah Memon, 34 s/o Abdul Fatah Memon of Village Therhi.
Meanwhile, two labourers Ashraf Dharejo and Ajeeb Dharejo were electrocuted by low-hanging cable while unloading goods from a truck at Panjahati Mohalla, Khairpur. They were rushed to the civil hospital but they died before reaching the hospital.
