KANDHKOT:Four PARCO employees were killed in a road accident near Kandhkot on Friday.
A speeding truck, while overtaking, ran over a car carrying PARCO employees on Indus Highway at Rano stop on the outskirts of PPL gas-field near Kandhkot city. As a result, four employees were killed on the spot. Those killed were identified as security officer Ghulam Sarwar Kalhoro, aged 50, resident of Larkana; policeman Ghulam Rasool Shaikh, 45, resident of Shikarpur, security guard Sanaullah, resident of Ghouspur; and car driver Mohammad Ayub Golo, redident of Kandhkot.
The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Kandhkot for medico-legal formalities. The incident created panic in the area as the bodies were retrieved through a crane. The police have impounded the truck. Further investigation was underway, the police said.
