LARKANA:The efficiency of Health Department, Government of Sindh, Karachi, can be judged from this fact that the doctor who massively spread HIV among his patients in Ratodero through usage of same injections has finally been suspended after expiry of over six months when the massive irreparable damage was already done to those who were innocent and most of them are little children, as determined by JIT.
According to a notification issued and signed by Tufail Ahmed Soomro, Section Officer-C-(H), on October 30, 2019, “the services of Dr. Muzaffar Ali Ghanghro, Medical Officer, (BPS-17), Rural Health Centre, Banguldero, is hereby placed under suspension, with immediate effect.
The headquarter of Dr. Ghanghro during the period of suspension shall be Health Department, it added. Dr. Ghanghro shall draw pay and allowances during the period of his suspension, as admissible under the rules”. Who will make accountable those responsible for this sheer negligence in Health Department is yet to be seen.
