KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Kaleem Imam on Sunday ordered all police DIGs to use available resources to ensure foolproof security for mourning processions and congregations marking the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain in all districts of the Sindh province.
A police statement issued today said that the IGP directed relevant police officials to take extraordinary security steps fort all religious places, sensitive areas, trade centers, airports, railway stations and other important places across Sindh.
He directed all SHOs to enhance snap checking, patrolling, random checking and measures against crimes in their respective areas.
