Infor: (Govt chalking out a revolutionary national education policy)

Sialkot:Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the government was chalking out a revolutionary national education promotional policy for bringing a similar educational system and a uniformed educational curriculum for ensuring easy access of everyone to the quality education.

She stated this while addressing the participants of a ceremony held at Govt. Girls Degree College Maraakiwal-Sialkot here after distributing the appointment letters among the newly appointed teachers of this college.

Talking to the newsmen here after the event Firdous said that there would also be the job portals in this new national education policy besides ensuring the easy admission of the students as well.

She said that the government has focused on promotion of quality technical education besides ensuring the early launch of the technical education in all the women colleges in active collaboration with TEVTA across Punjab for the the skill development of the girls students by taking maximum advantages of the advanced technology. She said that promotion of girl students’ skill development has now become vital.

She said that women empowerment could also help to utilize the talent and qualities of the women as well.

Earlier, talking to the newsmen there, Dr. Firodus Ashiq Awan added that government was making hectic efforts to overcome the menace of the unemployment and price hike besides ensuring the early financial relief to the common people.

She said that the government was taking effective measures to end the role of the middlemen to control the price-hike.

She said that government would also launch soon a nation-wide vigorous drive against the profiteering.

She distributed appointment letters among this college’s newly appointed teachers, besides, distributing Health Cards among the local deserving people as well.
