KARACHI:Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) held a protest demonstration against curbs on freedom of press/expression outside Karachi Press Club Tuesday. Journalists bodies throughout the country are organizing similar protests to observe Black Day.
They were carrying black flags and wearing black bands on arms. They also raised slogan against govt. policies to curb media freedom in Pakistan.
Besides journalists bodies, the trade unions leaders, lawyers and civil society representatives also took part in the protest.
